If you are heading towards Kaupang, there are other places and roads in the area that you should be aware of. North of Larvik, you’ll find an other Viking town called Midgard Viking Center. I bit further south, there is both Slottsfjell museum and the Slottsfjell tower. Verdens ende (The end of the world) is an interesting and beautiful area, and inland, you’ll find the fun and twisty road 306 – close to Høyjord stave church.
