Sluppen rest area is a charming spot along the Norwegian Scenic Route Aurlandsfjellet. Located on County Road 243, it offers a splendid view and easy access to trails and a beautiful waterfall. Originally a parking lay-by, it has been upgraded to a simple rest area with room for four cars, some bikes and a picnic table with universal access.

Visitors can enjoy a specially prepared footpath with benches, leading down to the river and the waterfall.
