Location: Western Norway

'Austmannalia' is located near the town Røldal. It is a short stretch of only 1,3 km, 4 hairpins and built in 1880.

Panoramavegen on the west coast is a hidden gem and a detour well worth riding! It runs between Stryn and Nordfjordeid, and is 52 km long.

Allmannajuvet ("common-man's-gorge") is a preserved zinc mine museum near Sauda that was operational for 18 years between 1881 and 1899.

Rødven stave church is beautifully located by the Romsdalsfjord among the peaks of the Romsdalsalpane mountains.

Lom Stave Church is an impressive church with a rich history. It was built in the mid-12th century and was used by both locals and travelers.

Kaupanger Stave Church (Kaupanger stavkyrkje) is the largest stave church in Vestland county – along the longest fjord – Sognefjorden.

Norangsdalen is one of my favorites. Stunning to ride through! Beautiful summer mountain pastures, Lyngstøylsvatnet and Hotell Union Øye.

Tusenmeteren is an impressive piece of road construction. It runs 1000 meters straight up, 42 hairpin turns and took 30 years to build!
