Tusenmeteren is an impressive piece of road construction. It runs 1000 meters straight up, 42 hairpin turns and took 30 years to build!

Jotunheimvegen is a 45 kilometres (28 mi) long gravel toll road through Jotunheimen national park. The road is closed during winter.

Aursjøvegen is loved by adventure motorcyclists for the feeling of wilderness. The road is steep, narrow, partly gravel and without fences.

Over the mountain between Hemsedal and Ål is a beautiful gravel road called Fanitullvegen. The road is a tollroad, so remember to bring cash.

Slådalsvegen is a 32 km long winter closed gravel road between Lesja and Vågåmo. The road follows the old track used by the live stock.
