In the series of old, retro gas stations, the Mobil station near Hunderfossen is absolutely a worthy and Instagram friendly stop on your ride up or down Gudbrandsdalen.

The station was originally built in Lillehammer city center in 1934 as part of the NOR chain. In 1960 is was bought by Mobil, and 5-6 years later, moved east and out of the senter at Nordsetervegen. The operation seized in the 70’s and the building was abandoned till 2020 when Norsk veimuseum (Norwegian Road Museum) moved and rebuilt it close to its museum at Hunderfossen in 2020. Due to corona is was not officially opened before September 2021.
